Welcome to the 2008 Black Weblog Awards!
Once again it's on! The 2008 Black Weblog Awards is back for a fourth year, bringing you the recognition of the best and brightest in the Black blogosphere. Last year's Awards marked a departure from previous Awards with the inclusion of a panel of illustrious judges and multiple winners for most of the thirty categories. This year, we will continue with that practice and upping the ante by bringing back prizes for the winners!
Previous winners in categories for the Black Weblog Awards have won iPods, signed novels, and even cold, hard cash. If you would like to donate a prize to any of the winners of this year's Awards, please feel free to contact us. Voting begins on August 1, and we will accept prizes throughout the end of the Awards (August 31); please read our FAQ for further details. The winners for this year's Awards will be announced on September 4.
In the meantime, go ahead and download any of our promotional graphics for use on your site, or drop by our Google Group forum! Soon, we will be moving away from Google Groups to keep the discussions and talk of the Black Weblog Awards under one domain, but do continue to give your contributions or ask any questions not answered in our FAQ there. We're also available on Facebook, MySpace and Twitter.
